When visiting my parents in the Island of Bornholm at the end of September, I got astonished to see the volume of wildlife birdfeed being sold in the local supermarket. Autumn had arrived so the big birdfeeding season had just begun. The attached photos are taken at the supermarket in a village of 800 people. As you can see the birdfeed occupied a prime location with 4 pallets placed right inside the entrance.

Three different types of birdfeed on display: Fatballs made from fat and a mix of seed and grain, Sunflower seed which is enjoyed by all garden birds and a Seed Mix with high energy seeds.
The size of the birdfeed bags are up to 15 kilos each (see photo)

At my parents house I could every day enjoy the Wildlife Garden birdhouse in action. On a busy day about 10 birds are flocking around the birdhouse during peak hours in the morning and mid afternoon. During such days a refill will only last for two days.
